Since 1975 VOG AG is also involved in production of foodproducts.

90 Years in the Service of Commerce

1916 Foundation of the VOG, Association of Upper Austrian Wholesalers Ltd in Linz, Capital invested: 33.100 Crowns, Company headquarters: Offices of Christ Co. Rathausgasse 1, Linz
1922 End of economic control for sugar, beginning of colonial trade
1926 Adoption of the Schilling as Austrian currency, Capital: 10.400 Schilling, Mrs Friederike Bruckner joins the Company as an apprentice
1938 Currency conversion to the German "Reichsmark", Capital 30.000 Reichsmark
1946 Conversion to the Schilling currency
1951 Company moves into more suitable office and warehouse accommodation in the Derfflingerstrasse "Betonhalle" with a railway siding
1958 Otto Bruckner joins the Company
From 1959 Expansion of the customer base beyond the shareholders and Upper Austria
1966 The new Company facilities in Linz-Wegscheid with:
• Banana-ripening plant
• Honey-jarring plant
• Spice mill
• Packing machine
• winery


1969 Expansion of the range to drinks and non-food items
1974 Transagent-Lehag foundation
1975 VOGTRANS Linz foundation, Mautern/Stmk. Dried Fruit Packaging – Purchase
1977 Getränkehandelshaus Linz (GHG) – foundation
1979 Walter Holzner joins the company
1984 WESTSIDE Austria-Hong Kong– foundation
1986 Purchase of LENZ-MOSER WINERY, Rohrendorf, Lower Austria


1989 Foundation of Jupiter Pet Food Factory, Hungary (50 % AMF – 50 % VOG)
1990 Foundation of VOG Hungary


1991 Company reformed into a stock corporation
1993 Ölmühle Aschach – Purchase (currently RAPSO)


1994 Purchase of VOG Czechia


1996 VOG Germany – Purchase of Sales Office
